BlueStripe Software announced that 2013 was a year of continued record customer
growth, product innovation, and industry success for the Transaction and
Application Management company. 2013 saw continued record growth for BlueStripe.
The company expanded its customer base by 24.4% and increased sales to existing
customers by 116.2%, resulting in year over year core revenue growth of 83.4%.
New customers spanned across sizes and industries, including multiple new
organizations in telecommunications, software, utilities, insurance, government,
and banking.
BlueStripe
continued to demonstrate industry leadership throughout the year, introducing
the first methodology for companies to take a Service Oriented Approach to IT
Operations. Based on its continued customer success, innovative product
enhancements, and a sound vision for the future of IT Operations, BlueStripe was
awarded its second consecutive Gold Medal for "Best Transaction Management
Solution" at the Network Product Guide Golden Bridge Awards.
In
2013, BlueStripe released a new entry level product line, FactFinder Express,
while greatly expanding the capabilities of its flagship FactFinderTM Enterprise
transaction monitoring solution. FactFinder Enterprise updates included
extensive integration work with Microsoft System Center and Microsoft Azure, as
well as several new product enhancements including automatic application
protocol detection, role-based component views for Operations Manager
distributed application maps, and extensive improvements to product usability
and extensibility with other platforms.
FactFinder
Express is BlueStripe's first solution available for free download and trial.
Perfect for individual System owners, FactFinder Express provides transaction
and application context for any individual server, and can easily convert to
FactFinder Enterprise when needed.
BlueStripe
continued to build on its long-standing membership in Microsoft's System Center
Alliance, adding capabilities to provide dynamic distributed application views
and response-time alerts into System Center, while extending the application
mapping and monitoring to manage datacenter, cloud, and hybrid-cloud based
applications.
"Our
successful 2013 is further proof that organizations of all sizes rely on
distributed applications for business success, and that understanding how their
applications connect with their infrastructure is critical to that requirement,"
said Chris Neal, co-founder and CEO of BlueStripe Software. "With our new
product capabilities, deeper System Center and Azure integration, and continued
high pace of adoption by record numbers of new and existing customers, we look
forward to even faster growth in 2014."
FactFinder
automatically discovers, maps, and monitors all business transactions running
within the data center and across the Cloud. FactFinder measures performance,
hop-by-hop, everywhere that transactions go, across tiers, across platforms, and
across architectures - even into virtual machines, public, private, and hybrid
cloud, as well as third party services. When performance or availability
problems occur, FactFinder follows the slow or hung transaction right to the
problem component, and then drills down the server stack to determine why the
problem occurred.
