Flexiant Expands Global Reach with Skyliance Networks Appointment

Flexiant, a leading international provider of cloud orchestration software, today announced IT service provider, Skyliance Networks Limited (Skyliance) has selected Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator to transition its managed infrastructure as a service (IaaS) to the cloud. Already an established service provider in Hong Kong, Skyliance selected Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator to help it develop new revenue opportunities via the cloud and deliver cloud services quickly and at scale. The appointment marks Flexiant's first customer in Hong Kong.

Wilson Lo, managing director, Skyliance commented: "Opting to deploy a new technology like cloud orchestration has been a big strategic decision for us. Cloud is a growing market in this region and while we recognized the opportunities available, we knew we had to act fast. But above all we had to make certain that our chosen cloud orchestration solution would provide us with the support to do this at scale, and with ease."

Using Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator, Skyliance will now offer customers highly differentiated public IaaS cloud services via a self-service control panel with extensive white-labeling and customization capabilities. Using these capabilities, Skyliance plans to also deploy a reseller approach to the market to profit from additional revenue streams.

Skyliance will benefit from Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator's extensive billing capabilities including Pay As You Go (PAYG). By offering customers an alternative approach to flat-rate fees, Skyliance now has a competitive edge over other service providers in the region helping the Company capture more market, more quickly. Furthermore, the service provider will take advantage of Flexiant's application blueprint technology, Bento Boxes, which contain all the key information to successfully build and deploy applications in the cloud.

Flexiant became the obvious choice when we were able to experience the solution in action, ourselves. Its customization, white-labeling and hypervisor agnostic capabilities were compatible with our key requirements allowing us to deploy a different and extremely competitive product in our market."
