QuadraNet Announces Its New Cloud Platform, the InfraCloud

QuadraNet, Inc., the leading provider of dedicated servers , colocation, and data center solutions in Los Angeles, is thrilled to announce the latest addition to its award-winning line of products: the InfraCloud. In development for quite some time, QuadraNet’s InfraCloud is finally ready to be launched to the public after concluding its beta period on February 15, 2014.

QuadraNet’s InfraCloud uses the KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) virtualization infrastructure and the basic offering starts at approximately $15/month, billed hourly based on whether the virtual machine is powered on or off. Bandwidth is available at $10 per terabyte and is billed on an as-used basis. Cloud VMs may be customized to include up to 16 cores, 16GB of RAM, and 500GB of disk size. Users are offered a wide variety of operating system selections, including CentOS, Debian, Fedora, FreeBSD, Gentoo, Red Hat, Ubuntu, Windows 2008, Windows 2012, or a virtual load balancer software.

Several preconfigured cloud packages have been created: The “InfraBlue,” QuadraNet’s lowest-end offering, includes 512MB memory, 5GB disk space, 1GB Swap, and 1 CPU vCore. The “InfraGreen” includes 2GB memory, 10GB disk space, 1GB Swap, and 2 CPU vCores. The “InfraOrange” includes 4GB memory, 20GB disk space, 1GB Swap, and 4 CPU vCores. The “InfraBlack” includes 6GB memory, 30GB disk space, 2GB Swap, and 6 CPU vCores. The “InfraRed” includes 8GB memory, 40GB disk space, 2GB Swap, and 8 CPU vCores. Finally, “InfraPurple” (named for QuadraNet’s signature color) includes 12GB memory, 60GB disk space, 4GB Swap, and 16 CPU vCores.

Dustin Cisneros, Sales Manager at QuadraNet, Inc. stated that “interest in the InfraCloud so far has been staggering and we’re fully expecting it to be one of our fastest selling products to date.” The initial cloud offerings feature extremely fast Solid State Drive (SSD) storage and cloud VMs can be launched and modified via QuadraNet’s custom cloud panel, available to new and existing clients.
