SimpliVity Named in Storage Magazine's Storage Product of the Year Award

SimpliVity the leader in converged infrastructure with its award winning OmniCube platform, today announced that it has been named a Silver winner for 2013 Product of the Year in the storage system category presented by the editors of TechTarget's Storage Media Group.

This achievement is the latest in a succession of industry awards in which experts have recognized the advantage of OmniCube and its data architecture, including Best of VMworld 2013 Gold, the Red Herring Global 100 and the inaugural edition of the Modern Infrastructure Impact Awards. OmniCube won its category over competitors Dell, EMC, Hitachi, HP, NetApp and Oracle.

For the eleventh year, Storage Magazine and's Product of the Year Award spans six storage categories. Judges chose 52 finalists from more than 160 entries, and eventually selected 16 as 2013′s best data storage products. All storage product submissions were judged based on innovation, performance, ease of integration into an environment, ease of use and manageability, functionality and value.
