CloudLinux Plans Space-Age Booth for Parallels Summit 2014

Innovative shared hosting operating system (OS) developer CloudLinux ( ), announced today its exciting plans for Parallels Summit 2014. The company is transforming booth #704 into the CloudLinux Playground, where attendees will discover the benefits of the OS and have an opportunity to win a Google Nexus tablet.

“We have always worked to make sure CloudLinux delivers really useful benefits to shared hosting providers,” says Igor Seletskiy, Founder and CEO at CloudLinux. “At an event like Parallels Summit, it is our job to show attendees those benefits in interesting, visual ways. In 2014, attendees will see how our virtualized file system works, and what that means for security. We will be showing that off using nothing more than a space station, and a robot.”

When people arrive at the CloudLinux booth, they will be invited to take control of a robot and guide it home to a “CageFS” space station as fast as possible. The fastest to finish on each day will be awarded a Google Nexus tablet.

“Our solution isolates shared hosting accounts so effectively that it is the most high-performance, secure, and flexible operating system available,” says Seletskiy. “Of course, we continue to make CloudLinux even better every year. I’m pleased to announce that, at Parallels Summit 2014, we will be sharing brand new details on the next version of CloudLinux and how it will bring even greater benefits to our customers.”

Parallels Summit 2014 brings together more than a thousand people from across every area of the web hosting industry, from Internet service providers (ISPs) to large hosting companies. This year, the event is centered on the theme of Break Through, with a view on the latest advances from Parallels and other companies in software and Internet services. CloudLinux will be presenting new information on the next CloudLinux version, available for OpenVZ and Parallels Virtuozzo Containers.

“While we want attendees to understand what already makes CloudLinux so valuable, there is a lot more news still to come, including the announcement of CloudLinux for OpenVZ and Parallels Virtuozzo Containers,” says Seletskiy. “I am looking forward to seeing as many people as possible at booth #704 to become part of our Google Nexus raffle and, hopefully, become part of where CloudLinux is headed in the next twelve months.”

In the last few years, CloudLinux has become a popular choice for shared hosting companies. At Parallels Summit 2014, attendees will have to take control of a robot and, in turn, see how they could take more control of the way their servers are used with CloudLinux.

Parallels Summit 2014 takes place February 24th to February 26th in New Orleans. CloudLinux will be exhibiting at the event in booth #704.
