Using Free Software to Improve Virtualization Backup and Disaster Recovery

Backup and Disaster Recovery are an important aspect of virtualization.  Just because you've virtualized doesn't mean you automatically escape the needs of having a good backup and DR solution.

PHD Virtual is offering two such solutions, and best of all, both of them are free.  What are they?

The first is a free tool called RTA Calculator for VMware environments.  It helps determine how long it will take for you to recover your virtual machines.  And it works in conjunction with your DR plan to help calculate your Recovery Time Objective and determine if you’ll be able to adhere to your SLAs.

The second solution is a free backup product for Hyper-V environments.  It uses all the latest capabilities in Windows Server 2012/R2 to ensure fast data access with little impact to production applications, and it has no requirements for guest agents and/or physical backup servers.

Ready to get started and learn more?  Check out this on-demand video where the PHD Virtual team will share how to use the RTA Calculator for VMware as well as the FREE backup for Hyper-V.

Doesn't matter if you have many years of virtualization experience, or if you are just starting out, you won’t want to miss this informative video.
