Breezy, the world's leading secure mobile printing platform, today announced the completion of Breezy's product integration with AirWatch by VMware, the leading enterprise mobility management (EMM) provider. Now, any of AirWatch's 10,000 customers can quickly and easily add enterprise-wide secure mobile printing on mobile devices.
"It's always been fast and easy to deploy Breezy across a corporate network, but the integration with AirWatch provides an even simpler set-up and installation for enterprise IT", said Jared Hansen, CEO of Breezy. "Now, no matter what mix of smartphones and tablet operating systems, legacy printers, or cloud and on-premise printing options a company needs, they can be sure that the combination of Breezy and AirWatch will keep valuable company data secure as it moves through the mobile printing process."
"As a long-standing AirWatch partner, Breezy is able to provide simplified management and enhanced functionality to its secure mobile printing solution through the AirWatch platform", said Kevin Keith, director of business development, AirWatch by VMware. "Together, AirWatch and Breezy will give customers the flexibility and end-to-end security -- even when company data is being printed outside the company network."
As enterprise mobility matures, the need for secure mobile printing is becoming increasingly apparent because tablets and smartphones weren't initially designed with printing in mind. "Smartphones and tablets feel like miniature computers to users," Hansen explains. "But they are designed as consumer products, and what native print infrastructure they have doesn't meet enterprises needs for security, tracking, accountability, and management functions. So while business users expect to be able to print from their tablets and smartphones in the same way they are accustomed to printing from a laptop or PC, it isn't a simple process without Breezy."
