Get your thinking caps on. VMworld 2014 is fast approaching, but before it gets here, the show is going to need to gather up speaking sessions in order to build out its break-out session list for attendees.
Yes, this is a difficult show to get your submission accepted. Why? Because they usually get WAY more topic ideas than they know what to do with. And if this year is anything like year's past, they've gotten quite a few really great topics sent their way. Unfortunately, not all of them can be accepted. But don't let that stop you. VMware is going to be opening up the call for papers on April 4th, 2014. So this is your chance to come up with that special hook to get you on the big stage and tell your story.
Got an idea around software-defined anything? Network, storage, data center? No? What about a topic focused on BYOD or end-user computing? How about the Hybrid cloud or Security in the cloud? Or reach into your bag of tricks and years of experience to come up with a presentation around your Virtualization or Cloud best practices!
VMware stated, "The official Call for Papers submission process will open on April 4th, and you will receive an email communication including links, directions for submission, contacts for questions, and additional information regarding the conference. As always, check the VMworld website for updates and information. Good luck in preparing, and we look forward to seeing your submissions this year!"
