Presentation Details At-a-Glance:

What/Session Title: "Migration Strategies from vSphere to Linux and OpenStack Via a Shared Virtualized Network"
Who: Dan Conde, Director of Products, Midokura
When: Friday, August 22, 2014, 2:45 pm - 3:35 pm CDT
Where: Huron Room, Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, Chicago, IL

Session Summary: During this presentation, Dan Conde will explore ways in which users who are considering migrating from a vSphere virtualization environment to a Linux and OpenStack-based environment can create a gradual migration strategy that enables co-existence of workloads in both environments with a gradual switchover, as opposed to an abrupt rip-and-replace conversion. Dan will also examine the various ways a virtualized network environment can be used to develop both isolated and shared network segments to both environments.
