CloudByte, the first provider of secure, multi-application storage for
Enterprise applications, announced the worldwide release of CloudByte
ElastiStor Appliance (ESA), a complete self-managed storage solution a
couple of months back in three variants: A10, A50, and A100. ElastiStor
Appliances enable any size organization to break away from vendor
lock-in and high expense of legacy storage approaches. Subsequent to the global
launch of ESA, CloudByte has tailored the current release to meet
the strong demand for all-flash appliances in India.
While the SanDisk Optimus Eco SAS SSDs power the all-flash and hybrid
storage pools, Netweb, the leading provider of server, storage and
high-performance computing (HPC) solutions, facilitates distribution and
hardware support. IndiQus Technologies is the implementation partner.
"Enterprises and Service Providers are looking for high performance
Enterprise storage at an affordable cost for their fast growing business
needs in India," said Umasankar Mukkara, Founder & VP of Engineering,
CloudByte. "We are happy to partner with Netweb and IndiQus for their
expertise in India’s storage market and SanDisk for their expertise in
flash storage."

"We are pleased to be working with CloudByte to incorporate SanDisk’s
high performance enterprise-class SAS SSDs into their new CloudByte
Elastistor Appliance," said Steve Fingerhut, vice president of
marketing, SanDisk Enterprise Storage Solutions. "The foundation of SAS
SSDs from SanDisk provides CloudByte customers with the speed and
reliability needed for mixed-use and read-intensive application
workloads, while helping them save energy, floor space,
and—ultimately—money."
"It is a pleasure working with CloudByte and SanDisk to provide real
life solutions with robustness of product and design," said Sandeep
Lodha, vice president of marketing, Netweb Technologies. "Netweb's
Systems will provide flexible, reliable, and efficient platforms so as
to meet the diverse requirements of the customers."
"At IndiQus we believe in continuously bringing cutting-edge
technologies to our customers and the ElastiStor all-flash appliances is
a big step in this direction. We see many use-cases where enterprise
customers can implement these storages to exponentially enhance their
storage performance at a fraction of cost in comparison to legacy
storage vendors. With our strong implementation skills around
virtualization technologies, we would enable quick and hassle-free
integration of the ESAs into Enterprise data centers," said Sunando
Bhattacharya, CEO, IndiQus Technologies.
