Can you believe it? 2014 marked the 11th year for the world's largest virtualization trade show -- VMworld 2014. And the show just keeps growing and growing every year!
With more than 23,000 people swarming the Moscone
Center each day, VMware created enough content and had enough going on that it kept most people in check and allowed everyone to move and flow throughout the facility to wherever and to whatever they desired.
As usual, VMblog hit the show pretty hard, and Brian and I were moving at light speed in order to accomplish as much as we could. Three and a half days didn't seem like enough time to actually make it all happen; but in the end, we did the best we could, and learned as much as possible. And, we enjoyed ourselves and took advantage of everything that VMworld had to offer.
With 275 vendors showcasing their wares
in the expo hall, we struggled to take as many photos, do as many video interviews, and generally meet with as many people as time would allow.
We've already shared a series of VMworld photos taken over the course of the show over on Facebook, Google Plus and the VMworld 2014 Events photo gallery. But here are a few of my favorite shots taken during the show that I wanted to share with everyone.
A special thanks goes out to HotLink, Tegile, VMTurbo, X-IO Technologies, SolarWinds, Unitrends and Zadara Storage for sponsoring VMblog's VMworld efforts this year.
We're ready for next year! :)
