Oracle VM VirtualBox 4.3.16 has just been released. This maintenance
release of VirtualBox 4.3 improves stability and fixes regressions.
Virtualbox is a cross-platform virtualization application that installs
on your Intel or AMD-based computers, and runs on Windows, Mac, Linux or
Solaris operating systems. It extends the capabilities of your computer
so that it can run multiple operating systems (inside multiple virtual
machines) at the same time.
Some of the updates and fixes include:
- fixed restoring 32-bit FPU state on 64-bit capable VMs and restoring guest FPU in raw-mode VMs
- fixed a rare crash for certain VHD images from other products
- added experimental support for rendering on offline GPUs for Mac OS X host
- fixed video recording support for 3D data regression
- improved IPv6 support when bridging to a wireless interface
- fixed startup problems on certain Windows hosts due to conflicts with anti-virus software
