Scale Computing Receives Five XCellence Awards at the Midsize Enterprise Summit West Conference

Scale Computing, the leading provider of hyperconverged solutions, today announced the company was honored with a record-breaking five XCellence Awards at the Midsize Enterprise Summit West (MES) Conference taking place September 14 – 16 at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Dallas, TX. The MES XCellence Awards are voted on by the IT decision-makers attending the conference and bestowed to the vendors whose products/services, presentations, and presence at the conference made the best impression. More than 200 CIOs and senior-level IT decision-makers attended the conference with over 50 vendors presenting.

Scale Computing received the Best of Show-Premier Award as well as awards in the following categories:

  • Best Demonstration of ROI;
  • Best Midmarket IT Solution;
  • Best Midmarket Solution, Hardware; and
  • Best Boardroom Case Study Presentation-Premier.

In addition to receiving the five XCellence Awards, Scale Computing CTO, Jason Collier, was named to the MES Top 50 Midmarket IT Vendor Executives list, which features the industry’s most influential vendor executives who serve midmarket and midsize customers.

“CIOs at the Midsize Enterprise Summit West overwhelmingly voted for Scale Computing as one of the most innovative and promising vendors in the Midmarket,” said Robert C. DeMarzo, Senior Vice President of Strategic Content, XChange Events. “They view the company as a game changer, disrupting larger competitors and offering a strong value proposition in the burgeoning integrated systems market. Clearly, the company has achieved a most favored status by CIOs across a wide range of markets.”

“To say we are honored is an understatement. This is an overwhelming validation of our HC3 platform and recognition of its uniqueness as a 'stack owner' all-in-one hyperconverged solution,” said Jeff Ready, CEO at Scale Computing. “We are committed to meeting the midmarket enterprise’s need for a solution that integrates storage, servers and virtualization in one package, and offers a simpler, cost-saving alternative to the legacy VMware infrastructure.”
