@ElasticBox and Red Pixie Partner to Bring the Leading IT as a Service Product to Fortune 500 Clients Across Europe
Today, ElasticBox, the leader in enabling IT as a service, announces that it has partnered with RedPixie, the London-based company that transforms IT environments for business success. Together, the companies plan to give businesses an easy path to utilize the power of public, private, or hybrid cloud environments through the best-in-class ElasticBox deployment and management platform. Other RedPixie partners include Microsoft, VMware and IBM.

A recent report found that 46% of IT leaders think cloud computing would be a boon to their business. However, there are several obstacles to adoption such as security, control, and complexity of transitioning applications to the cloud--56% surveyed cited this as a major roadblock to implementing the cloud. Many businesses want to find and use new ways of doing things in the cloud, but it’s often the case that they don’t have the time to chart the path themselves.

Addressing this problem, RedPixie helps companies identify, implement and use new leading edge technology in their IT departments. They find the right solutions by combining insight, innovation, and a deep knowledge of the subject matter with tools, methodologies, and best practices that reduce the cost and risk of deployments for some of Europe’s largest customers.

“We know that companies only win when they use best-in-class technology to innovate faster, without focusing on the mechanics of bringing that innovation to life.” said Simon Bullers, CEO of RedPixie. “For us, it’s not just about making life easier for just IT organizations, it’s about providing technology that gives companies that competitive edge. Imagine being able to reduce release time of a new game-changing application from months to days, and you’ll understand why we are excited to partner with ElasticBox. ElasticBox makes life far easier and more efficient for IT operations, developers, and CIOs, ultimately resulting in increased business agility.”

Now, RedPixie will help customers adopt the leading IT as a service product, ElasticBox. ElasticBox empowers businesses to innovate faster by making it insanely easy for IT and developers to build, manage and deploy applications to any cloud, as well as existing infrastructure.

“With ElasticBox, developers focus on innovation and IT teams promote agility while maintaining stability. The result is a more innovative and agile enterprise." said Ravi Srivatsav, CEO and cofounder of ElasticBox. “Together with RedPixie, we’re giving companies across the world choice and flexibility in how they move to the cloud by not locking them into a single vendor or a single way of deploying applications.”

ElasticBox was built from the ground up to be enterprise-ready. This means it has features that enterprises care deeply about, like governance, tracking, and real-time editing and collaboration between teams, to name a few. ElasticBox is available on public and private clouds, physical infrastructure and also on converged infrastructure provided by vendors such as: VCE, Dell, Nutanix, Hewlett-Packard and IBM.

Developers can use ElasticBox in conjunction with the containerization technology made popular by Docker--setting up development environments on their laptops while maintaining consistency with production environments for an easier path to creating new features.
