While at the VeeamON 2014 conference in Las Vegas, VMblog had the opportunity to speak with Ratmir Timashev, President and CEO of Veeam.  VeeamON is Veeam's first data center availability conference, and by all accounts, a big success with show attendees.

During this video interview, Ratmir explains how Veeam got started, what the company has been doing these last few years, and he talks about how Veeam and its products have grown and advanced so quickly.  A lot of information was discussed during the keynote presentations during this event, and one of those interesting moments was around a new free product coming from Veeam, their 4th free product to be exact, with this one called Veeam Endpoint Backup -- designed for Windows-based laptops and desktops.
