Pluribus Networks, the company that brings together compute, network,
storage and virtualization into a single, open and programmable SDN
platform, announced today its participation in the Open Networking User
Group (ONUG) in New York City, October 28-29, 2014. Sunay Tripathi, its
co-founder and CTO, will be a speaker in the “Network Overlays Working
Group Update Session.”
The following week, Pluribus will demonstrate its leading-edge network
visibility and orchestration technology at the OpenStack Summit in
Paris, November 3-7, 2014, Booth E55, showing how the company is
realizing the promise of SDN through programmability and
interoperability, reducing total cost of ownership and paving the way to
OpenStack.
Pluribus made a series of OpenStack-related announcements last year: http://www.pluribusnetworks.com/news-and-events/press-releases/
and will demonstrate in Paris capabilities such as ease of provisioning,
the ability to set per-tenant and per-application, fine-grained QOS, and
the use of the Netvisor’s ‘vflow’ capability for application flow
programming and security. The Pluribus solution can host the OpenStack
controller in addition to other network services, eliminating the need
for separate orchestration hardware within the rack.
