Varrow to Showcase Hands-on Enterprise Hybrid #Cloud at Carolina Panthers Game

Varrow, Inc., the leading provider of Cloud, Mobility and Security solutions today announced the release of its hands-on enterprise hybrid cloud environment. Varrow will be unveiling this solution October 30, 2014 at 6:15PM at the “Optimizing the Hybrid Cloud” executive event at Bank of America Stadium.

At the Hybrid Cloud Event, Jeremiah Cook, CEO of Varrow and Andy Sholoman, from the Office of the CTO at VCE will present real-world strategies for a more flexible, agile and comprehensive cloud solution. After the presentation customers will enjoy the football game between the Carolina Panthers and the New Orleans Saints.

In the design of its hands-on enterprise hybrid cloud, Varrow set out to build a hybrid cloud environment where both public and private cloud resources could be monitored and managed from one point of control, where workloads could easily be moved to and from public and private clouds, and where normally complex and time-consuming tasks are automated and reduced to a few mouse clicks.

“Varrow’s hands-on enterprise hybrid cloud was designed and built with the express purpose of showcasing what the hybrid cloud brought to life really can look like for our customers,” said Varrow CEO, Jeremiah Cook.

“We designed and built our enterprise hybrid cloud by bringing together several independent solutions from our key partners,” said Jason Nash, CTO of Varrow. “We wanted to prove to ourselves and our customers that we could integrate a best of breed solution and build an automated hybrid cloud solution that could be managed, maintained and provisioned from a single pane of glass.”

Varrow’s Cloud Practice Director, Chris Horn added, “We are giving our customers open access to our hands-on enterprise hybrid cloud environment so they can readily explore the potential positive impact of automation and cloud services without making a major monetary investment. This environment is available to our customers to do everything from simply running demos to performing full-blown proof of concept studies.”

The infrastructure platform for Varrow’s hands-on enterprise hybrid cloud is built upon industry leading solutions from VMware, Cisco and EMC. The VMware software stack is built around VMware’s vCloud vRealize suite and includes integration of VMware’s vCAC, vCO, LogInsight, and vCOPS with Cisco UCS compute and Nexus 9000 switches, providing full 40Gb connectivity and a solid foundation for software-defined networking (SDN). EMC storage infrastructure includes Isilon, XtremeIO, VPlex, VNX, VNXe and VMAX; all storage platforms are abstracted and managed via EMC’s software defined storage platform, EMC ViPR. The Varrow Enterprise Hybrid Cloud is currently federated with Peak 10, Amazon AWS, Azure, and vCloud Air, allowing for the seamless migration of workloads from the Private to Public Cloud.

“As we implemented the Varrow Enterprise Hybrid Cloud, we developed processes and documentation for customer implementations. This experience will accelerate our customer deployments,” said Josh Coen, VCDX and Lead Architect of the Varrow Enterprise Hybrid Cloud Project.
