RackWare,
the software provider that integrates data center and cloud resources
into a scalable and intelligently managed computing environment, today
announced its membership in the NetApp Alliance Partner Program.
RackWare is collaborating with NetApp and IBM to integrate their hybrid
cloud management solution, RackWare Management Module (RMM), with IBM
and NetApp technology. With this partnership, customers will be able to
get the benefits of cloud migration and disaster recovery for legacy, as
well as cloud applications.
Launched in July, the latest version of RackWare's RMM solution now
includes added cloud disaster recovery functionality. RMM 3.0
drastically lowers the cost of disaster recovery, allowing enterprises
to ensure protection of mission-critical IT resources in case of planned
and unplanned outages. With RMM 3.0, partners will enable customers to
seamlessly extend existing IT architecture into the cloud for minimal
disruption.
RackWare's RMM software product enables enterprises to easily and
cost-effectively leverage cloud environments as an extension of their
internal environments without having to change applications or operating
systems. By integrating with IBM and NetApp technology RackWare allows
enterprises to seamlessly expand their internal NetApp environments to
IBM's cloud platforms that are using NetApp storage.
The NetApp Alliance Partner Program provides qualified infrastructure
and application providers with access to NetApp solutions, software
development kits, technical support, training, certification, product
information and marketing and sales assistance. Customers benefit by
having access to best-of-breed partner solutions that have been tested
to work with NetApp storage. Additional information on the NetApp
Alliance Partner Program is available at http://www.netapp.com/alliances
The news comes at the heels of RackWare's recent announcement regarding the opening of its
new Channel Partner Program
to Service Providers and VARs globally. RackWare has made significant
momentum with partners including CenturyLink, QTS, Peer 1, OnRamp, Pea
Soup, Entisys and MBS Tech Services.
