X-IO's ISE Wins VDI Product of the Year at the SVC Awards 2014

Storage industry innovator X-IO Technologies has today announced its ISE solution has won the ‘Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Product of the Year’ award at this year’s Storage Virtualization and Cloud (SVC) awards. The award recognizes X-IO’s proven ability to provide healthy VDI storage installations, and its commitment to solving storage reliability and performance issues.

The annual SVC ceremony, held last night at Montcalm Hotel in London, rewards and acknowledges vendors, customer teams, products and projects within the cloud, virtualization and storage sectors. The awards recognize the achievements of end- users, channel partners and vendors in the last 12 months.

Gavin McLaughlin, VP worldwide marketing, X-IO said: “It has been another successful year for X-IO at the SVC awards. This achievement is true validation of our solutions orientated approach to VDI deployments. We are pleased that the market has recognized X-IO as the premier storage solution for VDI deployments.

X-IO provides innovative solutions to its customers. Virtual desktops are quickly becoming established in the IT industry, offering enterprises a cost-effective alternative to buying multiple desktops for their workforce. X-IO’s ISE arrays are the perfect solution to support this growing VDI environment, enabling organizations to delivery high levels of reliability and consistently high performance.

X-IO has been focused on helping the growing number of organizations facing serious performance issues with their virtual environments. Our recent VDI Emergency Response program, offering a 72- hour ‘diagnosis-to-deployment’ timeframe, is one example of this. The market needs us to help them get VDI deployed efficiently the first time around, whilst delivering predictable and consistent performance.”
