NoviFlow closes financing round and demonstrates advanced SDN and NFV solutions at the Carrier Network Virtualization Conference 2014

NoviFlow Inc., a leading provider of high-performance SDN and NFV solutions, today announced that it has closed a round of financing with private investors from the US, Japan, Taiwan and Canada.

According to Dominique Jodoin, President and CEO of NoviFlow: “Our recent orders from large carriers and a global web infrastructure provider are showing that the market for SDN and NFV is transitioning from experimentation to production deployment, and that NoviFlow’s products are uniquely positioned to meet the needs of these customers. By combining our switching products with OpenFlow controllers and applications from market leaders such as NEC, Cubro and Blue Coat Systems, NoviFlow is making available commercial grade solutions that can scale, turning the promise of SDN and NFV into a reality.”

NoviFlow also announced that they will be demonstrating the latest update of their NoviSwitch 1248 and NoviSwitch 1132 at the Carrier Network Virtualization Conference in Palo Alto on Dec 9-11, 2014, at the Crowne Plaza hotel. These innovative demonstrations include a broad range of SDN and NFV solutions for both carriers and data centers:

  • Traffic Monitoring and Traffic Optimization
  • VLAN/MPLS Optimization and Virtual Tenant Networks (VTN)
  • Service Chaining
  • Cyber Security
  • L2-L7 based flow handling (such as GTP/TEID Load Balancing)

NoviFlow’s OpenFlow switches, including the NoviSwitch 1248 and NoviSwitch 1132 run the NoviWare 250 switching software, providing the industry’s most extensive implementation of the OpenFlow 1.3 specification. This includes support for ALL OpenFlow 1.3 actions, instructions and matching fields, multiple tables per pipeline, group handling, Provider Backbone Bridging (PBB), and more. NoviWare 250 switching software is also available for licensing to third party OEMs.
