Lancope, Inc., a leader in network visibility and security intelligence, announced today that its StealthWatch System is now certified as a Vblock Ready solution through the VCE Technology Alliance Partner
(TAP) program. The TAP program is designed for independent software
vendors, hardware manufacturers, virtual appliance vendors and other
technology providers looking to simplify and accelerate their solutions
for deployment with VCE Vblock Systems.
Lancope's StealthWatch System
delivers comprehensive network visibility and enhanced threat
detection, enabling organizations to more quickly identify and thwart
sophisticated attacks across physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure.
Advanced, context-aware security analytics turn the entire network into
a sensor grid for detecting suspicious behaviors that could indicate an
attack. More than 700 customers around the world rely on Lancope to
dramatically improve their cybersecurity and incident response
procedures while minimizing enterprise risk.
VCE Vblock Systems
provide rapid deployments and dramatically lower IT costs by offering
pre-integrated, pre-tested and pre-validated IT infrastructures that
combine best-in-class compute, network, storage, data protection and
virtualization technologies from Cisco, EMC and VMware, delivered as a
single product with unified support. With Vblock Ready certification,
Lancope can now provide customers with the assurance that the
StealthWatch System is interoperable with Vblock Systems and can deliver
the efficiency and agility of virtualization and cloud computing.
"Over the last couple of years, we have seen many of our customers
adopt technologies to support cloud computing, and we are proactively
taking steps to ensure that our StealthWatch security platform provides
advanced visibility and protection across both physical and virtual
infrastructure," said Alex Quilter,
product management director at Lancope. "In addition to continuously
expanding our support for various cloud platforms, technology
partnerships such as our new relationship with VCE help us to further
our mission of securing even the largest, most dynamic networks."
"VCE is pleased to welcome Lancope as a Technology Alliance Partner
for VCE Vblock Systems," said DJ Long, senior director, Technology
Alliances, VCE. "As a VCE TAP partner, Lancope can now integrate its
products with Vblock Systems, delivering transformative data center
solutions for mutual customers that combine the agility, simplicity and
economics of converged infrastructure with Lancope's expertise in
network visibility and security intelligence."
VCE works with Superna to conduct and administer Vblock
System certifications for VCE TAP program members. This certification
enables mutual channel partners and customers to accelerate adoption of
Vblock Systems while leveraging Lancope's StealthWatch System for
advanced, context-aware security.
