Virtual Appliance has been released for the Hyper-V platform. It is
designed to be a secure software delivery system for both enterprises
and small businesses.
Virtual appliances are intended to eliminate
installation, configuration, workload and maintenance costs associated
with running complex stacks of software.
Hyper-V is a Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012
technology that enables the deployment of virtual servers. This type of
environment is used to create and manage virtual machines, which allows
multiple operating systems to run on one physical computer.
Vembu Virtual Appliance is provided as a virtual hard
disk (VHD) file, a commonly used file format. The VHD file recovery
application is a simple and fast solution for recovering corrupt VHD
file data.
How to Use Virtual Appliance:
-
Install Hyper-V.
- Create and set up a virtual machine.
- Download the ‘VirtualAppliance.zip’ from the link below, unzip it and save it on your physical machine.
- Once completed, with the deployment of VembuBDR Server
on your Hyper-V server, you can use the Vembu BDR Server for backup and
disaster recovery as well as replicate to the cloud if needed.
