OneCloud Software,
a leader in the fast-growing hybrid cloud management market, today
announced the company has added three cloud computing industry veterans
to its management team: Brett Johnson, Kerry Kee, and Eric Schott.
Brett
Johnson is vice president of sales and business development,
responsible for OneCloud Software’s sales and strategic partner
execution in the marketplace, including the recruitment and leadership
of a world-class sales organization. Johnson has more than 20 years’
experience leading sales and business development organizations in a
number of successful early stage companies.
As vice president of
engineering at OneCloud Software, Kerry Kee is responsible for all
product development and delivery as well as building OneCloud’s high
caliber engineering team. Kerry brings more than 20 years of engineering
leadership experience from both enterprise and early stage startup
companies.
Eric Schott is vice president of product management,
bringing over 30 years’ experience delivering innovative technology to
the market. Prior to OneCloud Software, Eric served as Executive
Director in Dell’s Storage Engineering group, where he led innovations
in the EqualLogic product line, and its integration with server and
virtualization products.
“Brett, Kerry and Eric are industry
heavyweights who bring a wealth of virtualization, storage and startup
experience to the table,” said Marc Crespi, CEO at OneCloud Software.
“Their expertise will be instrumental to advancing our technology,
driving sales and furthering our leadership in hybrid cloud-based disaster recovery.”
Prior
to joining One Cloud Software, Johnson was VP of global sales for
DynamicOps (acquired by VMware), where he led the company to a market
leadership position that included 10 consecutive quarters of sales
growth, numerous industry awards, and an impressive list of Fortune 100
global customers. Previously, Johnson sent four years with PlateSpin, a
recognized pioneer in the virtualization marketplace, where he developed
key channel, distribution and customer relationships and managed the
enterprise sales organization prior to the company’s acquisition by
Novell.
Kee came from Akamai Technologies after opening the
Cambridge, MA development office for Verivue, acquired by Akamai in
2012. Kee previously served as VP of engineering for Newbury Networks
and Idiom Technologies, and held management and engineering roles at
HighGround Systems and EMC Corporation.
Schott joined Dell from
EqualLogic (acquired by Dell in 2008), where he led product management,
product strategy and roadmaps. Prior to EqualLogic, he served in senior
engineering and product management roles at Allaire/Macromedia, and
managed storage, file system and web tools technologies at Digital
Equipment Corporation.
One Cloud Software recently launched the
OneCloud Recovery (OCR) software for integrating existing data centers
securely with Amazon Web Services (AWS). OCR bridges the gap between the
data center and the large-scale public cloud by providing the
automation, scalability, and efficiency necessary to use a hybrid cloud
for cost-optimized disaster recovery and business continuity.
