In today’s business world, companies expect their IT professionals to
stay current on new and emerging technologies. With budget limitations
and increased need for knowledge about new technology, ongoing product
experience is imperative for individual professional growth and
development. Now more than ever, IT professionals need a simpler and
faster way to learn about new products.
To enable IT professionals to explore VMware technology, VMware
User Group (VMUG) and VMware
announced today that they are partnering with Kivuto
Solutions to provide current and new VMUG Advantage Subscribers with
a new EVALExperience offering for selected products.
“We are excited to work with the VMUG community to provide greater
opportunities for IT professionals to explore VMware products and
enhance their individual technical skills with hands-on experience,”
said Raghu Raghuram, executive vice president and general manager of
VMware’s Software-Defined Data Center Division. “The new VMUG
EVALExperience will provide VMware professionals and tech enthusiasts an
opportunity to learn about our new cloud computing technologies in a
non-production environment.”
“By adding EVALExperience to VMUG Advantage, VMware is continuing the
incredible support of the VMUG user community,” said Brian Kirsch, VMUG
director. “The EVALExperience will enable more home labs and sandbox
environments where IT enthusiasts and professionals can learn and work
with products that can help them further their companies and careers.”
EVALExperience is an extended product evaluation offering for select
products and is exclusively available to VMUG members with a new or
current VMUG Advantage Subscription. This member benefit is available at
$200 annually as part of the VMUG Advantage Subscription fee.
