HyTrust Inc., the Cloud Security Automation Company, has been
named of CRN Magazine’s 20 Coolest Cloud Security Vendors Of The
2015 Cloud 100. The accolade is the latest in a long line of awards the
company has received for its pioneering work developing software
solutions that provide the essential foundation for control, visibility,
data security, and compliance in cloud infrastructures. Founded by
industry veterans and visionaries who saw the potential of
virtualization and the cloud earlier than most, HyTrust has led the way
to a secure, compliant next generation datacenter.
“Our core mission has always been to enhance security for the regulated
and otherwise sensitive data enterprises have in the cloud, and this
recognition from CRN is further validation of our success,” said Eric
Chiu, president and founder of HyTrust. “Because the cloud introduces
new, concentrated risk, security is always a potential roadblock to
full-fledged adoption. We thank CRN Magazine for this praise of our
innovation in helping corporations more easily expand virtualization to
mission-critical applications and take greater advantage of the cloud.”
Last year, HyTrust was named “Most Innovative Partner of the
Year” at the McAfee FOCUS Conference and SC Magazine’s 2014 Virtualization
and Cloud Security Innovator. HyTrust Boundary Controls, which enables
policy-based control over where virtual workloads can run, also won the
Intel Technology Innovation Award for 2014, and HyTrust DataControl,
which helps organizations lock down virtual machines to enable security
throughout their lifecycle, was named Best Cloud Security Solution at
Net Events 2014. The Mountain View Business Association singled out
HyTrust in its “2014 Best of Mountain View Awards” in the category of
Best Software Company and CRN Magazine itself cited HyTrust as an
Emerging Vendor for 2014.
“We’re gratified by the awards and the recognition, but we know the
focus is on the present and the future,” Mr. Chiu stressed. “This is an
environment in which there are always new threat vectors introducing new
forms of danger to the network infrastructure. The virtualized and cloud
paradigm can only succeed with top-notch security, and we’ll continue to
lead the way in providing exactly what the industry needs and deserves.”
