Tesora announces OpenStack Trove Day 2015 on August
25 in San Jose, where attendees can learn everything there is to know
about the OpenStack Trove Database as a Service (DBaaS) project.
The agenda features experts from leading companies who will discuss:
- Managing a diverse mix of relational and non-relational databases using OpenStack Trove;
- Case studies from users regarding the benefits derived from database as a service;
- Recent developments in OpenStack Trove in the Kilo release, plus live demos;
- Future plans for the Liberty release;
- Market perspective for database as a service and OpenStack.
"Last
year's Trove Day was an excellent experience for me both in terms of
attending, as well as speaking at the event," said Vipul Sabhaya,
technical engineering manager at HP Cloud. "I'm really looking forward
to this year and catching up on the very latest on Trove as it is a rare
opportunity for the community to gather in person."
The
event is being held at the high-octane Club Auto Sport event center - a
one-of-a-kind venue filled with historic cars and memorabilia that
creates a fun, inspiring atmosphere for attendees.
"Our
inaugural OpenStack Trove Day event was held last August in our
hometown - Cambridge, Mass. - where we welcomed a cross-section of
participants from the Trove community including engineers and business
managers from enterprise users like eBay, along with leading technology
companies that deliver database products and OpenStack distributions,"
said Ken Rugg, CEO of Tesora. "We promise an even bigger, better event
this year building on the enthusiasm generated last year and the
location right in the heart of Silicon Valley."
