Liquidware Labs Named to CRN's 2015 Virtualization 50

Liquidware Labs, the leader in desktop transformation technologies, today announced it has been named to The Channel Company’s 2015 CRN® Virtualization 50. The annual list recognizes channel-friendly companies that provide some of the most innovative virtualization technology available.

Selected by CRN editors, the 2015 CRN Virtualization 50 highlights vendors that are addressing a growing market need for state-of-the-art virtualization solutions. Building virtualized environments is the first step in taking customers to the cloud. Selecting the right virtualization tools puts solution providers on the path toward successfully building virtualized environments that solve customers’ problems. The list aims to help solution providers identify and evaluate virtualization technology vendors and programs that will enable them to grow their business.

Making the CRN Virtualization 50 list is yet another achievement for Liquidware Labs, which is just returning from its most successful Citrix Synergy event ever, as growing numbers of companies are recognizing the value of its offerings.

Liquidware Labs solutions – ProfileUnity for User Environment Management (UEM) with FlexApp for Application Layering, and Stratusphere solutions for end-to-end visibility of the desktop end-user experience -- are fast becoming “must have” technologies for desktop virtualization customers to solve a wide range of desktop performance issues. The company’s Flex-IO IOPS acceleration solution is also gaining traction with a growing number of customers who need to speed up storage performance for VDI environments.

The company will shortly make version 6.5 of ProfileUnity generally available (in beta currently) with significantly enhanced FlexApp application layering features and two new advanced features, including ProfileDisk, a VHD or VMDK data disk designed to hold a specific user profile, and a high availability, highly scalable design with exclusive point-and-click clustering.

Liquidware Labs is an Elite member of the VMware Technology Alliance Partner program. The Elite status is conferred upon organizations which will be involved in active collaboration with VMware to integrate and validate their solutions with VMware end-user computing platforms and technologies. Liquidware Labs solutions are also verified as Citrix Ready and the company is also a founding sponsor of the Citrix User Group Community.

“Virtualization is one of the hottest segments of the IT industry. As virtualization adoption continues to flourish, our Virtualization 50 list serves as a valuable resource in the purchasing process,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “These virtualization vendors definitely deserve to be on the channel’s radar. We congratulate the winners and look forward to their continued success.”

“We are very proud to have gained this recognition from CRN,” said Chris Akerberg, President and COO of Liquidware Labs. “This award again validates for our channel partners that they have made the right decision in going-to-market with our products, and that they have embarked with us to transform the workspace as we know it. We are well positioned to jointly capitalize on a growing and dynamic market, and we are excited for our mutual prospects in the desktop virtualization space.”

The 2015 Virtualization 50 list is featured online at, and will be published in the June issue of CRN.
