Pivot3,
a pioneer and innovator in the development of hyper-converged
infrastructure (HCI) solutions, today announced the hiring of industry
experts Trent Landreth and Jason Peoples to lead the expansion of
Pivot3’s Channel Program.
With nearly 45 years of combined sales and business development
expertise in the technology industry, Landreth and Peoples will help
propel Pivot3’s expanding channel strategy and further position the
company as a leader in the HCI segment.
Trent Landreth serves as vice president and directs sales operations and
enablement, and channel and business alliances. With extensive
experience building and leading large organizations, Trent will focus on
driving business goals and objectives, streamlining sales enablement and
channel operations and improving internal and external processes. Trent
comes with significant senior executive level experience, and has held
positions with enterprises such as Oracle, Stonebridge, i2 Technologies,
and Formation Systems.
“Pivot3 is increasingly gaining recognition as a company with superior
technology and an enormous market opportunity,” said Landreth. “The
company has a history of innovation and extends a value proposition to
their customers that is unequaled in the HCI space. I recognized that
Pivot3 has the potential to be a leader in a rapidly evolving market,
making the decision to join the company very easy. I’m excited about the
opportunity to help lead Pivot3 and help it grow.”
Jason Peoples serves as Pivot3’s channel development vice president and
leads the fast-growing Pivot3 Channel Program. A strong leader in
technology sales, partnerships, marketing and management functions,
Jason has held executive roles at technology companies including
Diversinet, Venafi, VeriSign and most recently VMware, where he managed
global strategic alliances for mobility.
“Hyper-convergence is unquestionably the future of IT infrastructure,
and the patented technology that Pivot3 brings to the HCI space proves
the company’s viability long-term,” said Peoples. “Pivot3’s solutions
are beating the competition in terms of central processing unit (CPU)
efficiency, storage efficiency and price, which allows channel partners
to deliver an advanced, full-featured, end-to-end system to their
customers. I look forward to building on this competitive edge to
broaden Pivot3’s Channel Program.”
These two additions to Pivot3’s talented executive team will help
further accelerate the company’s rapid growth and extend the company’s
competitive advantage within the channel.
“Bringing Trent Landreth and Jason Peoples on board reflects Pivot3’s
dedication to the continued expansion and performance of our sales teams
and our channel partner strategy,” said Ron Nash, CEO of Pivot3. “Their
decision to join our team came after extensive analysis of our
technology, business model and growth trajectory. This is additional
evidence of the superiority of our technology in the market and our
increasing visibility in hyper-convergence.”
