has announced the release of ImageCenter LE, a new management utility
that provides local and remote management of ActiveImage Protector and
vmGuardian backup image files.
ImageCenter LE is an add-on management tool that complements vmGuardian
and NetJapan’s flagship product, ActiveImage Protector by managing
replication tasks via scheduling and improves local system performance
by offloading system and storage resource consumption to management
systems. With ImageCenter LE, backup image files can be scheduled for
replication to local or off-site high capacity datastores. Scheduled
Incremental file consolidation for ActiveImage Protector backup images
can be performed utilizing only the management systems resources.
