Skyscape
Cloud Services Limited, the easy to adopt, easy to use and easy to
leave assured cloud services company is embarking on an aggressive
recruitment drive to support the company's delivery of cloud computing
in the UK public sector. Skyscape has grown to 85 employees in just
three years, with expectations to double that figure by 2016, and has
won a number of high-profile contracts within central and local
government.
"This
company has grown quickly in a short period of time becoming a
successful enterprise that creates jobs and is focused on continually
innovating, in order to surpass customer expectations," said Simon
Hansford, CEO at Skyscape Cloud Services. "We are at the start of a very
exciting journey, and potential employees have the opportunity to be
part of that and join a young, rapidly growing company. They will play a
key role in supporting exciting fast-track projects that will support a
revolution in public sector ICT and the delivery of public services
online."
Skyscape
is looking to hire experienced and passionate professionals interested
in joining a company at the forefront of accelerating digital
transformation and the adoption of cloud computing in the UK public
sector. They immediately have over 30 new roles across the organisation,
from pre-sales cloud architects, cloud technical leads, web developers
through to engineers and customer service experts. Further information
can be found on their careers page. Speculative applications are welcome.
In
addition, Skyscape has invested in tackling the skills gap with a work
placement programme for a select number of undergraduates to gain
experience in cloud and virtualisation technologies. The programme is
open to students on sandwich degree courses that want to develop cloud
skills and gain experience in the operation, development and marketing
of cloud solutions. This month saw nine undergraduates join Skyscape as
part of this programme and it is hoped that more than 15 will join as
part of next year's intake of undergraduates.
