ZPE Systems today unveiled NodeGrid
[CI]—the world’s first out-of-band converged infrastructure management
appliance—for expanding data center management capabilities and
protecting enterprise CI investments. NodeGrid [CI] provides end-to-end
access, control and monitoring across multiple layers of converged
infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, virtual machines
and power devices driving private, public or hybrid clouds.
NodeGrid [CI] is future ready for hyperscale, hyperconverged data center
management and designed from the ground up to meet surging information
processing demands. With a quad-core Intel CPU, large flash storage,
software-defined flexibility from 64-bit Linux and Docker apps, NodeGrid
[CI] scales to control one rack or thousands of racks easily with
NodeGrid Cloud Clustering and NodeIQ natural language search across
the enterprise and globe.
“ZPE gave the data center world its first
Docker capable and fastest ever serial console switch, and we’re
leading data center management evolution with in-band and out-of-band
converged infrastructure management capabilities,” said Arnaldo
Zimmermann, CEO of ZPE Systems. “Without hyperscale OOB management,
converged infrastructure may be dead in the water for hours, costing
business units millions of dollars in downtime.”
ZPE’s NodeGrid [CI] appliance introduces converged infrastructure grade
management for device pools which are the foundation for Amazon Web
Services, Microsoft Azure, Docker, OpenStack, VMware ESXi and other
cloud and on-premise technologies, as well as management for IPMI
service processor, virtual machines, serial, power and environmental
sensors, all in a space and energy saving unit.
NodeGrid [CI] is the only offering in the market today for secure
in-band and out-of-band converged infrastructure management. As rack
densities increase and enterprise moves to the cloud, NodeGrid [CI] is
the clear choice to help reduce downtime of very expensive converged
infrastructure environments.
