enVue Releases Data Virtualization Platform

enVue today announced the launch of enVue Data Virtualization, its robust platform that simplifies the complexities of controlling, distributing, finding and using data across the business enterprise. enVue takes data virtualization to a new level as it was designed from the ground up to improve data USE in addition to bringing data access together. enVue Data Virtualization allows access to joined data sources regardless of original backend format, platform or location, and will offer an unprecedented self-serve platform for end users to find, request and access the information they need.

According to Adam Redd, chief technology officer for evVue, “enVue is a multi-faceted data virtualization platform that joins multiple data sources to provide real-time access to any data type through a single-source interface, for one source of data access. And, because enVue never requires the data to leave its original platform, it reduces the risk of data integrity issues and provides one source of truth. Plus, enVue Data Virtualization supports data governance policies with access control built throughout so it can be the one source for data control.”

“As we launch the enVue platform, data virtualization is just the tip of the iceberg. Soon, enVue will support eDaaS (Enterprise Data as a Service) and we are excited to share more about this simple self-serve information portal very soon,” said Pamela Bartz, chief marketing officer, enVue.

enVue Data Virtualization

enVue was created from the ground up with the data user in mind. This means it’s about using data, not just virtualizing it. In essence, the enVue platform is a revolutionary data usability tool. So, unlike its data virtualization predecessors built for IT use only, enVue is a simple, no coding, mobile-accessible platform for maximizing data access.

enVue Data Virtualization Features:

  • Mobile-ready, single-source access to diverse data types, including relational, NoSQL, cloud, legacy, big data and more
  • Data governance control options at database, table, row and field levels that are mobile-enabled, for “Control on the Go”
  • Real time dashboard monitoring and control of data usage and users
  • Simple VM deployment with no coding required
  • Create virtual views once and reuse as needed to eliminate backlog of data requests
