VMTurbo 5.3 Webinar: QoS for Virtualized MS Exchange, Nutanix Integration, MySQL Control, and more

The new bits for VMTurbo Operations Manager 5.3 are now live!  Join Charles Crouchman, CTO; Darren Prince, Product Manager; and Giampiero De Ciantis, Product Manager of VMTurbo, as they walk you through the latest features in this live Webinar event.

WHEN? August 26, 2015 at 11:30AM EST

Tomorrow at 11:30 am EST you will learn more about:

  • Assure QoS in Virtualized Microsoft Exchange

Last release we introduced QoS adherence, specifically the ability to define transaction throughputs or response times and let VMTurbo continuously control the environment in a state in which the specified QoS levels are delivered. With 5.3 that capability is extended to Microsoft Exchange!

  • Expanded Database Control in the App Layer: MySQL

For any applications the database can be the biggest hog of resources. VMTurbo discovers and controls databases, the list of which now includes MySQL.

  • Reduce Costs & Drive Efficiency with Shared-Nothing Migration

With 5.3, it is now possible to move VMs between hosts that do not share the same storage, getting rid of artificial boundaries that get in the way of using the infrastructure efficiently.

  • Nutanix Integration: Adding the "Hot Storage" Commodity

For VMTurbo, Nutanix "Hot Storage" is another commodity in the data center market. The same economics-based algorithms that drive performance and efficiency across the stack, maximize the utilization of Hot Storage (SSD), minimizing the need for Cold Storage (HDD) and the latency that occurs as a result!

  • Other Developments Include
    • Minimize Latency in Dell Compellent
    • Leverage VMware NSX for Network-Aware Workload Management
    • Intelligently Burst Workloads to IBM Softlayer
