Channel Partners Double Margins with NexGen Storage New Priority Partner Program Benefits

NexGen Storage, a 100-percent channel organization, today announced the addition of a new benefit to its Priority Partner Network channel program that allows value-added resellers (VARs) to double margins on NexGen N5 Hybrid Flash Array products. The new program provides an additional rebate on sales that augments the company’s existing registration program, which is designed to protect VAR-sourced opportunities and to deliver best-in-class margins and market share expansion.

“With the abundance of storage technology options available in the market, customers are relying more on trusted VAR advisors to guide them in selecting the best solution for their environments. NexGen recognizes the important role VARs play in the customer experience and we are excited to add a new Priority Partner Program benefit that doubles VAR margin on NexGen products,” said Nader Soudah, vice president of worldwide channels, NexGen Storage. “With 100 percent of our revenue going through the channel, we are committed to amplifying our channel partners’ revenue growth and profitability as we work together to maximize customer satisfaction through innovative solutions that optimize performance and deliver efficient, priority-based flash utilization.”

“NexGen N5 hybrid flash solutions are available through regional reseller partners worldwide and national partners such as CDW in North America, plus NexGen is expanding its presence in Canada,” added Soudah. “NexGen continually strives to lead the market in technology innovation as well as inventive ways to support our partners. Today’s announcement builds on our recent product introductions and exemplifies our commitment to creating profitable business opportunities that drive success for channel partners.”

In addition to providing 2x the margins of competitive offerings, the NexGen Priority Partner Network offers easy deal registration, exclusive pricing, sales and marketing assistance, service revenue opportunities and an easy-to-use partner portal that includes automated deal management, marketing and sales tools, technical resources and access to marketing programs.

“As the only 100-percent channel vendor in our market, NexGen again demonstrates its strong commitment to the channel with a new program that boosts margins and increases investment in our business,” said Stewart Lande, executive vice president at Maureen Data Systems. “With NexGen’s radically innovative, highly differentiated hybrid flash array, we are equipped to address our customers’ toughest performance and capacity challenges in mixed workload environments, which in turn allows us to profitably expand our presence in the market.”

The NexGen N5 architecture is based on PCIe flash, offering the optimum combination of performance and capacity, and is Non Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) ready to ensure compatibility with next generation flash devices and to avoid SAS/SATA bottlenecks inherent with SSDs. NexGen N5 arrays are frequently deployed in VMware, Citrix, Microsoft and other virtualized environments with multiple, mixed application workloads.

NexGen recently announced simplified, converged VM data management capabilities that allow all VM management, including storage QoS integrated with VMware Virtual Volumes (VVol), to be done within a single pane of glass for easy IT infrastructure administration. Designed to deliver predictable, consistent performance in a shared storage environment, NexGen’s QoS Manager allows customers to change VM performance policies without a Storage vMotion while avoiding the creation of multiple storage containers and guaranteeing VM performance, even when the storage system experiences application contention.

NexGen was recently recognized by CRN as one of The 10 Coolest Storage Startups of 2015, as a CRN Emerging Vendor and was given a ‘5-Star Partner Program’ rating for its Priority Partner Network channel program. In addition, NexGen’s products achieved an overall “Excellent” rating and “Best-in-Class” for both the “Software” and “Management” categories in the DCIG 2015-2016 Small/Midsize Enterprise (SME) Hybrid Storage Array Buyer’s Guide. NexGen was also named a ‘Top 20 Most Promising Citrix Solution Provider’ by CIOReview.
