SolarWinds, a leading provider of powerful and
affordable hybrid IT infrastructure management software, today
announced its upcoming participation at
SpiceWorld, an IT
conference hosted by Spiceworks, in Austin, Texas, on September
23-25, 2015. At the event, SolarWinds Head Geek, VMware
vExpert and Cisco Champion Kong Yang will share best practices
for performance tuning and troubleshooting across heterogeneous
virtualized environments.
"SpiceWorld has set itself apart as a great event for IT pros who are
eager to learn and collaborate to convene on the latest and greatest
technologies, making it an ideal venue for SolarWinds to be on the
ground, engaging with some of the best and brightest in IT," said
Yang, Head Geek, SolarWinds. "Having attended SpiceWorld as an
industry influencer in the past, I know what an honor it is to be
among such an impressive group of speakers and how passionate the
audience will be. I am excited to present performance tuning and
troubleshooting tips to help my fellow IT pros get the most out of
their virtualized environments."
In his session, "Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting Virtualized
Environments," Yang will provide best practices for tuning and
troubleshooting in a hybrid virtualization environment -- VMware
vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and KVM -- along with all of the
abstract layers of compute memory, storage and networking.
Specifically, he will discuss how to:
- Normalize performance tuning and troubleshooting constructs across multiple hypervisors
- Tune and troubleshoot the virtualized compute, memory, storage and networking layers
- Design performance remediation processes and policies for automation and orchestration engines
