PureWeb Design Now Available in AWS Marketplace

Calgary Scientific Inc., a company known for creating innovative cloud and mobile-enablement technology announced today that PureWeb Design is now listed in AWS Marketplace. PureWeb Design gives design teams around the world an efficient way to access and fully utilize models from their web and mobile devices. This includes real time multi-user collaboration on design data sets of any size, including fully integrated collaboration via video conferencing from within the software. The solution integrates with industry leading file hosting services like Dropbox and Box for seamless, secure access to full data models of any size. Accessing PureWeb Design from AWS Marketplace means that models are kept fully secure while they are rendered remotely on powerful GPU's with workstation like performance.

PureWeb Design is a true cloud-based design solution that dramatically improves mobile access to design files.  Users can quickly and efficiently access over 30 different files types including Rhino3D and AutoCAD DWG. PureWeb Design extends the capabilities of their existing CAD/Design software that they use today, without having to displace their current solutions or changing their well-established workflows.

"I am extremely excited to offer our capabilities to distributed design teams looking to increase collaboration via AWS Marketplace," said Pierre Lemire, CTO and EVP Products at Calgary Scientific. "Having worked in the design industry for more than 15 years, I understand how crucial it is to clearly communicate design intent. With PureWeb Design you can now collaborate on your models right from any desktop, as well as any variety of mobile devices such as an Android tablet or iPhone, and initiate video conferencing with colleagues or clients alongside your models from within your application."
