announced the executive speaker lineup for the general sessions taking
place at VMworld 2015 Europe.
Beginning Oct. 12, 2015, VMworld
Europe will take place in Barcelona at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via,
where more than 9,000 people are expected to be in attendance.
Highlighting the theme of "Ready for Any," the event will feature more
than 250 unique breakout sessions from VMware and its partners and
customers, providing attendees with key insights into the cloud
infrastructure and business mobility industries. Attendees will have
access to a wealth of technology partners, with more than 135 sponsors
and exhibitors at the conference.
In today's liquid business
world, organizations are challenged to seize opportunities while
managing new kinds of risk. VMworld Europe will address how IT
organizations can evolve to innovate faster, fully engage customers, and
empower employees -- all while protecting their data, their brand and
their reputation.
VMware executives will lead two general session presentations during the event:
- On
Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. CEST, the event will kick off with
Carl Eschenbach, VMware's president and COO. Eschenbach and other VMware
executives will discuss how VMware is empowering businesses to take
advantage of the company's One Cloud, Any Application, Any Device
architecture to develop, deploy, and consume all applications quickly
and securely.
- On Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. CEST,
VMware CEO Pat Gelsinger and a group of senior executives from various
VMware business units will showcase how VMware is enabling applications
to be delivered with total security from the device to the cloud, and
empowering organizations to transform business processes and operations
through business mobility.
