SolarWinds to Demonstrate Database Performance Tuning and Optimization at Oracle OpenWorld 2015
SolarWinds, a leading provider of powerful and affordable hybrid IT infrastructure management software, today announced its participation at Oracle OpenWorld 2015, October 25-29, 2015, in San Francisco. At the event, SolarWinds database performance evangelist and Oracle ACE, Janis Griffin, will present on performance tuning and database optimizations. SolarWinds will also exhibit its latest updates to SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer.

Attendees who stop by the booth will receive demonstrations of SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer's key features, including:

Griffin brings over 25 years of database administration experience to her Oracle OpenWorld 2015 session, "Introduction to Query Performance Tuning: a 12-Step Program," on Sunday, October 25, at 12 p.m. In the presentation, Griffin will cover how to:

  • Quickly fine-tune a SQL statement using 12 unique steps
  • Recognize performance inhibitors to enhance performance in the future
  • Identify and understand how new Oracle features can change and/or support different execution plans
