Pitch Slam is part of Dell for Entrepreneurs, an initiative to support emerging technology. Only a very select group of finalists from across the globe are chosen to present their companies, products and services to an esteemed panel of judges at the event, including Michael Dell. New NX Series Management Software Extends Flash Storage Benefits for all Enterprise Applications

At Dell World 2015, Mangstor will launch its new management software for the NX6320 Series flash storage arrays to make it easier to deploy, share and manage flash storage over extremely fast, industry-standard networks. Using its software-based NVMe technology, NX Series storage arrays allow applications to get more work done in far less time by delivering extremely high data bandwidth over networked solid state storage (SSD), while maintaining the low latency and response time of internal PCIe SSDs. The result is 10X higher IOPs performance and 10X lower latency compared to legacy SAN all-flash-arrays. Enterprises now have a standards-based option to eliminate expensive investments in legacy flash storage solutions:

• Super-charge productivity with tier 1 applications and big data – Administrators can reduce the time it takes to run data queries from 24 hours to four hours using NVMe storage over RDMA Ethernet and InfiniBand networks. The NX series storage array increases application performance by providing over 3 MM random read and 2.25 MM random write IOPS and 110/30 microsecond read/write latency.
• Boost efficiency and scale IT resources – Mangstor’s customers can implement high-performance, scalable compute clusters that share the low latency benefits of PCIe SSDs without requiring an SSD in every server. This dramatically reduces hardware infrastructure costs and increases data center compute and storage rack density.
• Easily manage all-flash enterprise infrastructures – Mangstor’s industry-standard, software-based architecture easily integrates with existing systems and cloud management tools. Mangstor and the other Pitch Slam finalists will have five minutes to introduce their innovations, followed by brief questions and valuable feedback from the judges. The company deemed most innovative will be named winner of Pitch Slam.
