Gridstore, the leader in
hyper-converged all flash infrastructure for the
Microsoft Cloud-Inspired Datacenter,
today announced that the company has enjoyed significant sustained
success year-over-year and quarter-over-quarter since introducing the
Gridstore HyperConverged All-Flash Infrastructure one year ago.
Sustained Revenue Growth
Gridstore began shipping its HyperConverged All-Flash
Appliance, based on its previous GRID storage architecture, in Q4 2014
and for the nine months ending September 30, 2015 saw YTD growth of 428%
YoY. Q3 of 2015 was 440% greater than Q3 of 2014 and cumulative
quarterly bookings growth is 54% quarter on quarter, starting with the
first quarter of introduction and continuing over the past four
quarters.
Key Customer Wins
In the past 3 months alone Gridstore has gone
head-to-head in deals with Nutanix, winning 100% of them with superior
performance, simplicity, and lower TCO. The company has added
significantly to its installed customer base each quarter, increasing
the installed base by 25% in Q3 2015 alone.
Gridstore was able to provide a leading healthcare
service provider a next generation infrastructure allowing them to
virtualize their SQL Server instances, upgrade to the latest enterprise
version of SQL Server, and fund it all with the cost savings in SQL
Server licenses. This customer considered Nutanix as well as an all
flash array vendor with a traditional infrastructure solution, but found
the Gridstore solution provided the best combination of performance
with a significantly lower TCO.
Affymetrix, a California-based leader in genomics
analysis, tested both Dell and HP but chose Gridstore for their VDI
deployment for superior simplicity and reduction in TCO, realizing a 94%
decrease in time to deploy new desktops.
Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe of Arizona replaced
aging infrastructure with Gridstore HCI, thereby reducing migration
times by 50% while increasing performance by 40%.
Momentum in Key Verticals and Use-Cases
Even though Gridstore delivers a horizontal
infrastructure solution, the company has gained significant traction in
the State/Local Government and Education, Health & Life Sciences,
and Service Provider verticals, with diverse workloads such as VDI, SQL
Server Consolidation, and general Infrastructure Refreshes. In the past
quarter 23% of sales were in SLED, 22% in Health & Life Sciences,
and 17% to Service Providers.
Key New Partnerships
Gridstore's network of channel partners has expanded
to over 60 resellers concentrated in North America and EMEA, along with
the expansion of critical key strategic relationships. Scalability
Experts, Microsoft "Partner of the Year" for 2015 and 2014 in Data
Management is partnering with Gridstore to deliver SQL Server solutions
as is Unidesk, a specialist in simplicity and management of VDI.
Technology Leadership
Gridstore's HyperConverged All-Flash Infrastructure
has been proven to deliver breakthrough economics over traditional
infrastructure, delivering 65% lower cost VMs,
Lower CAPEX and OPEX, and 75% reduced infrastructure. The solution
installs quickly, is easy to manage, reduces operational costs and
delivers performance that only a high end, all flash array can.
"It's been gratifying to see the market traction and
