The rapid adoption of modern cloud technologies -- including Docker
and Kubernetes -- by enterprise development and DevOps teams has spurred
growing concern around trust, policy and security in the new era of
"modern IT."
Apcera, the world's only trust-first cloud platform, today announced a series of upcoming presentations at
IC3: 2015 IT Cloud Computing Conference, the inaugural
KubeCon event and
DockerCon Europe.
Apcera executives will discuss strategies that businesses can employ to
drive innovation forward while ensuring trust and confidence that their
infrastructure is secure.
Apcera executives will present at the following conferences in November:
- 2015 IT Cloud Computing Conference: Ken Robertson, Chief Architect at Apcera, will participate in a panel on container security
and DevOps culture at the 2015 IT Cloud Computing Conference. The
panel, hosted by Alex Williams of The New Stack, will take place on
Monday, November 9, 2015 from 1:00pm - 2:00pm PST at San Jose State
University.

session on how policy can be used to scale Kubernetes; the session will

Ralston Ballroom of the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.
In addition, Ken Robertson, Chief Architect at Apcera, will participate in a panel titled, "Evolution of PaaS",
outlining the changes in PaaS technology over the last decade; the

12:00pm PST in the Ralston Ballroom of the Palace Hotel in San
Francisco.

While the new world of cloud and modern IT offers a radically
new way for businesses to innovate, it also brings on new
vulnerabilities due to a lack of visibility, proper controls and
security. The Apcera platform was built to instill trust and confidence
and to deploy, orchestrate and govern any Linux-based application or
workload on and across any cloud environment -- from private and public
to hybrid and multi-cloud. With the ability to span multiple cloud
environments, Apcera provides developers and ITOps unprecedented
performance and transparency into control for their workflows, helping
businesses drive innovation and bring new products and services to
market faster, all on a secure and trusted platform.
