Each year, Zenoss surveys hundreds of organizations about their use of converged infrastructure – those packaged combinations of compute, storage, network, and virtualization that are increasingly powering the intelligent data center.  And this year is no exception.  Zenoss recently concluded its annual State of Converged Infrastructure Survey to explore how technology leaders are using Converged Infrastructure technologies such as Cisco UCS, NetApp FlexPod, and VCE Vblock to respond to business demands for more IT agility and speed.

And as these technologies continue to grow and expand and the market continues to evolve, it is no wonder that this year Zenoss has more than doubled the amount of responses over last year's survey.  Over 410 IT professionals across the globe were polled, and the results are in and the report has been compiled.

Zenoss is now sharing the 2015 survey results with everyone: 2015 State of Converged Infrastructure Report.

• What trends are driving adoption of Converged Infrastructure (CI)?
  69% of survey respondents either have or plan to have CI deployed by 2016.

• What commonalities exist between those companies having the greatest success in deploying CI?
  65% reported delivering better customer service with CI.

• How are companies structuring their IT workforce to best manage CI deployments?
  33% felt it necessary to create a new team solely for the purpose of managing their new CI implementation.
