In its Lab Spotlight Report: SIOS iQ & FlashSoft software: Analytics-driven Server Acceleration, ESG confirms SIOS iQ enables IT staff to identify the causes of application performance issues and determine the optimal use of caching to maximize performance all in a single click. SIOS iQ software identifies ideal candidate virtual machines (VMs) for performance acceleration using SanDisk FlashSoft host-based caching software, Fusion ioMemory enterprise PCIe application accelerators and SanDisk enterprise SAS and SATA solid-state drives (SSDs).

Using the recommendations made by the SIOS iQ analytics software, ESG Lab optimally configured the FlashSoft caching software and observed performance accelerations from 2x to more than 60x. ESG also validated that the SIOS iQ analytics software accurately predicted the resulting performance improvements from the use of recommended host based caching configurations.
