Citrix Appoints Tim Minahan as Chief Marketing Officer

Citrix today announced that Tim Minahan is joining its executive team as chief marketing officer (CMO). Minahan will be responsible for leading and evolving the Citrix marketing strategy to continue to drive the company’s vision of securely and reliably delivering applications and data. Minahan will report to Citrix interim CEO and president, and executive chairman, Bob Calderoni.

As a change agent for digital transformation, go-to-market strategy, demand generation, sales execution, M&A, and supply chain, Minahan has generated billions of dollars for both fast-growing start-ups and premier technology brands. He comes to Citrix from SAP where he was CMO of SAP Cloud. Previously, he was at Ariba, where he served as senior vice president of Network Strategy as well as CMO. An active evangelist on technology and business trends, he is a sought-after industry speaker and a published author on subjects ranging from business transformation and e-commerce to leadership and technology.

“Minahan has a proven track record in driving transformation, growing businesses, and leading high-performing teams to unprecedented success,” said Calderoni. “His passion and experience is a great complement to the executive team as Citrix continues to build positive momentum and focus on the company’s transformative initiatives announced earlier this year.”

“Citrix has always measured the value of its technology by how it benefits people and that is something I am passionate about,” said Minahan. “The company has uniquely helped businesses manage IT complexity for more than 25 years and they continue to look for ways to innovate. I look forward to working with the executive team to build and execute the next chapter in helping Citrix customers and partners find new ways to work better.”
