Keynote Panel: Disruptors & Game Changers: Meet Today’s Hottest Emerging Cloud Vendors

December 10, 2015 from 10:00 am – 10:45 am

San Diego Convention Center, Hall A

On the panel, company CEO Seth Bostock will discuss how workspace solutions have presented new opportunities, leading to greater business productivity and savings. The innovative departure from traditional IT workspaces is opening new avenues to recurring revenue for a range of channel providers, including cloud service providers (CSPs), managed service providers (MSPs), value added resellers (VARs), telecommunication providers, and agents. Bostock will detail how WaaS will make its mark over the next several years as organizations solve significant IT problems with the technology.

According to a recent report by Transparency Research, “The global Workspace-as-a-Service (WaaS) market is forecast to reach US $18.375 billion by 2022. The growth of the WaaS market is primarily driven by increasing enterprise mobility trends such as bring your own device (BYOD). Additionally, the increasing trend of using personal devices such as smartphones, tablets, and personal laptops in the workplace has created security concerns related to the data handled and saved on these devices which is also driving adoption. Further, termination of support for Windows XP by Microsoft Corporation has boosted demand for Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) workspace solutions.”1

IndependenceIT is an innovator in cloud workspace automation, providing a comprehensive solution for service enablement in public, private or hybrid cloud environments. The company’s software, Cloud Workspace Suite®, allows IT administrators to orchestrate, manage and provision all elements necessary for automated, multi-platform, hypervisor/device agnostic workspaces, applications and desktops as a service. The solution has been designed for infrastructure and hypervisor independence and features industry-leading automation and interoperability for ease-of-use. The solution also offers a robust API for ease of integration with existing customer infrastructure and business support tools. With this platform, IT service providers and administrators select their preferred cloud infrastructure for globally accessible workspaces across single or multiple clouds matched to business requirements.

“There has been a noticeable evolution in IT over the last decade as the adoption of cloud-based technologies takes hold. As a result, we are seeing acceleration in Workspace-as-a-Service adoption with double-digit growth in 2015 that shows no signs of slowing down,” said Seth Bostock, CEO, IndependenceIT. “This shift in the way users are accessing their business applications and data is a change that the channel is capitalizing on. During the panel we will highlight how the move to WaaS delivery has been a positive decision for IndependenceIT partners, in their efforts to attract and retain customer accounts.”
