CloudPhysics Named One of the Coolest Virtualization Startups of 2015
CloudPhysics, provider of data-driven insights for smarter IT, today announced that it has been named one of the 10 coolest virtualization startups of 2015 by CRN: CloudPhysics has received more than 25 awards and accolades since launching in 2012.

"CloudPhysics, a startup founded by former VMware storage engineers, has carved out a name for itself with a Software-as-a-Service offering that uses predictive analytics to ensure that virtualized infrastructure is running at peak efficiency," said Kevin McLaughlin, Chief Investigative Reporter at CRN. "CloudPhysics recently unveiled a feature for VMware environments called Exploration Mode, which lets administrators pinpoint the cause of problems with their virtual server, storage and networking configurations at an early stage, before they can have a negative impact. The idea is to reduce human error by automating the process of detecting infrastructure problems, and it's one that's quickly catching on with organizations with large virtual environments."

With Exploration Mode, administrators can go back in time, correlating events, issues, and changes that are associated with any selected time range in the vSphere environment, making it possible for users to see exactly what transpired in the seconds, minutes or days leading up to an application performance or availability problem.

"We are honored to be named one of the coolest virtualization startups of 2015," said Jeff Hausman, CEO of CloudPhysics. "Customers love the simplicity, flexibility and unique insights our solution provides to help deliver peak performance and efficiency for virtual environments with full deployment in less than 15 minutes."
