SkyGiraffe Extends Mobile Application Development Platform to AirWatch Customers

Today SkyGiraffe, the mobile application development platform that enables customers to deliver secure mobile apps at unprecedented speed and scale, announced it is working with AirWatch, the leading enterprise mobility management provider. SkyGiraffe apps deployed via an EMM solution like AirWatch will be automatically configured and secured, empowering users to get access to apps with a single click.

"We are excited to welcome SkyGiraffe's mobile application development platform to the ACE community," said Mimi Spier, Senior Director of Strategic Business Development, VMware and leader of ACE. "Simplifying mobile app development is important to helping enterprises transform business processes with mobility. SkyGiraffe, as a part of ACE, offers a mobile app development solution that  results in easy to deploy and configure mobile apps that work in the diverse enterprise system across any platform, any cloud and any device."

SkyGiraffe empowers organizations to quickly build and deploy enterprise-grade mobile applications at scale. These apps both read and write from sources including SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, ServiceNow, TeraData, oData and other REST APIs. Currently, enterprises are unable to quickly develop and deploy scalable mobile applications due to fundamental challenges including connecting legacy data systems and varying dataset security protocols. Now as a part of ACE, SkyGiraffe gives CIOs a simple solution to solve enterprise mobility challenges at scale.

"SkyGiraffe completely changes how enterprises transform into mobile-first organizations," said Boaz Hecht, Co-Founder and CEO of SkyGiraffe. "Some of our Fortune 500 clients have built and deployed 10 to 15 native mobile applications on top of SAP, Oracle, Salesforce and other systems within two days. We look forward to extending this capability to all EMM users, including AirWatch customers."

SkyGiraffe offers flexible deployment on-premises behind a firewall, in a hybrid cloud environment, or in a pure cloud deployment (public or private). It also supports quick and simple migration to the cloud once an enterprise is ready. Other products require all data to go through the cloud, including on-premises production system data that needs to be approved to go outside the network. This flexible security architecture is one of the fundamental differences that makes SkyGiraffe the only enterprise ready solution available today.

The SkyGiraffe offering transforms enterprises' ability to go mobile and empowers business users to deploy line of business applications. SkyGiraffe provides enterprise-grade security for encryption, user authentication and authorization, including support for Single Sign-On (SSO) + OAuth with multiple identity providers as well as fully native 2-Factor Authentication. The platform provides seamless integration to popular SaaS apps like Salesforce and ServiceNow, and to on-premises applications, databases & services such as SAP, SQL Server, Oracle and Teradata as well as oData and other REST API's. SkyGiraffe apps are native on iOS, Android and Windows Phone to ensure a fast, optimal user experience. They offer full access to native device features such as 3D Touch, TouchID, gestures, camera, GPS, contacts and push notifications. SkyGiraffe delivers an unprecedented level of security plus speed. Clients are able to take full advantage of the AirWatch stack - building apps on secured devices, and scaling apps to meet enterprise needs.
