UniPrint Infinity Releases Version 9.0.3 - New Feature Resolves Remote Printing Issues & Reduces Printer Management Overhead (, the world leader in printing virtualization, today unveils the vPad CE print appliance as part of the new features and enhancements of UniPrint Infinity v9.0.3.  The device was specially designed to facilitate print stream compression solving bandwidth issues and promoting consistently fast remote printing across multiple geographical locations, when deployed with the UniPrint Infinity software. The print appliance can also replace a remote site Windows print server allowing it to be consolidated into the data center.

Deployed together, UniPrint Infinity compresses the data transmitted from the printer server in the data center, and vPad CE decompresses it at the remote location. This reduces the amount of bandwidth consumed, enabling speedy, trouble-free printing. The vPad CE replaces the Windows print server at the remote location which will help to eliminate support calls.  vPad CE is easy to set up and can be self-installed in 10 - 15 minutes. Priced competitively at $295 per unit with a three year warranty, users can expect a full return on investment in under a year.

Powered by a single PDF-based Universal Printer Driver and one Virtual Print Queue, UniPrint Infinity replaces all manufacturer printer drivers, enabling secure, location-based printing on demand in any computing environment.  The printing solution also comes with a proven ROI through its statistics module, print document archiving functionality and a full redundancy setup with load balancing capabilities.

Arron Fu, CTO at said, "This new device is becoming a game changer for the printing industry. This print appliance will help our customers realize the full potential of their UniPrint Infinity software. This feature promises to go beyond universal printer drivers."
