Ericom Software, a recognized leader in remote access and desktop
virtualization solutions, and ASUS, a global technology leader, today
announced a partnership. The collaboration between the companies enables
ASUS to bundle Ericom’s AccessNow software with many of its enterprise
solutions available on Chromebooks, laptops, tablets, and other mobile
devices.
Ericom’s AccessNow is the market’s first high-performance HTML5 RDP
client, allowing users to access Windows desktops and applications from
any device running an HTML5-compliant browser. ASUS will offer Ericom’s
software on a variety of devices customized for enterprise usage
including Chromebooks, tablets and other mobile devices sold to a wide
range of organizations, from SMBs to large enterprises, addressing
education, finance, government, healthcare and more.
The partnership between Ericom and ASUS provides unparalleled flexible
access to applications while extending the life of existing IT resources
and reducing overall support costs.
“Bundling ASUS devices with Ericom’s software benefits both SMB and very
large enterprise customers by providing a solution that is both easy to
set up and easy to use for any device running any Windows-based
application,” said Joshua Behar, President and CEO of Ericom Software.
“In a world where most users have multiple mobile devices running
different operating systems to access different types of systems and
files, this unlimited elasticity is priceless. AccessNow already has
significant traction among education, finance, government and healthcare
institutions around the globe.”
Jeff Wen, Associate Director of ASUS Global Commercial Sales Division,
said: “ASUS is providing AccessNow on devices customized for corporate
solutions such as Chromebooks, tablets and other mobile devices, so
customers can enjoy all of the capabilities of desktop resources
available from anywhere, all within standard browsers, and without
having to install or maintain any software on the user device. Our
partnership with Ericom makes it simple for customers to remotely access
Windows desktops and applications.”
ASUS and Ericom have already launched their joint offering in Japan, and
expect this cooperation to expand worldwide. For more information, visit
