Tegile
Systems, the leading provider of flash-driven storage arrays for
databases, virtualized server and virtual desktop environments, today
announced that Charles Bass, vice president of channel sales, has been
named to CRN's prestigious list of 2016 Channel Chiefs. Individuals are
selected for inclusion based on professional achievements, standing in
the industry, dedication to the channel partner community and strategies
for driving future growth and innovation.
The 2016 Channel Chiefs represent top leaders in the IT channel who
excel at leading growth and revenue in their organizations through
channel sales. Bass was recognized for his contributions to expanding
Tegile's global reach and dedication to the company's partner community.
The recognition comes on the heels of Tegile announcing
350 percent year-over-year growth in systems delivered in 2015. To
support the company's growth trajectory, Bass will maintain his focus on
increasing Tegile's channel sales and incorporating new qualified
partners into the Tegile ecosystem in 2016.
"At Tegile, we pride ourselves in our 100 percent channel-focused sales
strategy and are constantly striving to bring the most innovative
storage solutions and go-to-market programs to our resellers," said
David Bangs, senior vice president of sales of Tegile. "This recognition
is a testament to Tegile's dedication to equipping its channel partners
with the dedicated sales and technical resources to succeed."
Bass joined Tegile in August 2015, bringing over 25 years of sales,
channel, marketing and business development experience at companies
including Promark Technology, Hewlett Packard and LeftHand Networks.
Since joining Tegile, he has helped grow Tegile's partner community over
50 percent. The company also eliminated legacy direct sales transactions
to become an entirely channel-driven organization.
"We are honored to present the 2016 lineup of CRN Channel Chiefs,
comprised of outstanding executives who move our entire industry forward
by cultivating exemplary partner programs and executing cutting-edge
business strategy," said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. "They
represent an extraordinary group of individuals who lead by example and
serve as both invaluable advocates and innovators of the IT channel. We
applaud their incredible strides and look forward to following their
accomplishments in the coming year."
